Meet the Teacher Night

Class rosters will be posted on the front doors at 4:00 P.M. Thursday.

To avoid being tardy,  
all students should be with their class 
when the tardy bell rings at 7:50 A.M.
If your student eats breakfast at school, please arrive early enough to give them time to eat before the bell rings.
Parents are reminded that a picture ID must be presented anytime you are visiting our campus or signing your child out of school.
Be sure to check the Volunteer Opportunities board in the office to find out what’s going on at school and how be involved!
Goshen Creek Compact

  •  Morning Drop-Off Procedures
    All students must be dropped at the curb in the visitor parking lot in front of school.  Staff will be there to assist students out of  vehicles from 7:20 AM until 7:45 AM.  Please do NOT drop students in the parking lot, at the crosswalk, anywhere in or near the bus loading zone, or at the curb in the staff parking lot.  All students dropped off anywhere except the curb in front of school MUST be escorted to the curb by an adult.  Parents and guardians are welcome to park in the visitor parking lot or along the south side of the staff parking lot if they wish to walk their student into school.  Please enter through the front doors.  The side doors in the bus loading zone are for staff and bus riders only.  Parents and guardians are welcome to accompany their child into school in the morning, however all hallways will be closed promptly at 7:45 AM when the bell rings and any adult on campus after the tardy bell rings at 7:50 AM must be signed in as a volunteer. All volunteers must have previously passed a background check.  Thank you for helping keep our students safe!
    Afternoon Pick-Up Procedures
    School is dismissed at 3:15 P.M. Vehicles picking up Kindergarten through 2nd grade students will enter the visitor parking lot at the front of the school and follow the line around the parking lot to pick your student up at the front curb.  Vehicles picking up 3rd and 4th grade students will enter the driveway at the far north end of the school and will circle behind the school building.  They will be held at the gate entering the staff parking lot until all busses have left.  After the busses leave, vehicles will move forward to pick up their student in the bus loading zone.  All students will go to the pick-up area of the youngest student in their family, so a family with a 1st grader and a 4th grader would only go to the 1st grade pick-up area in front of the school.  Please remember that the north driveway can only be entered by making a right turn. Please be sure your car tags are visible.  If you do not have car tags, you will need to park and go to the office to show ID.  Please be aware that for the safety of our students, students being picked up by a parent or guardian walking up to the front doors will not be released until the line of vehicles waiting to pick up students has cleared.  This will reduce the number of pedestrians in the parking lot and keep our students even safer.
    Labels for Education and Boxtops
    Goshen Creek collects Boxtops and Labels for Education.  Please be sure to collect them and send them to school with your student.  They do not have to be pasted to a collection sheet, they can just be placed in a bag or envelope if it is more convenient.

  • dumpsterA paper recycling bin is now available at Goshen Creek Elementary!! The bin is located by the playground.  Help your child learn about recycling...make it a family project!
