• Snack and Homework Reminder

    ·       Homework is due every Friday. Math fact cards have been sent home with students who need them. We will take a math fact timed test at the end of every 9 weeks that will be 1 math grade. Please make sure your student is filling out their reading log.

    ·       If any parents are wanting to send snacks for the whole class, that is welcomed and we do appreciate your generosity. I would ask that the whole class snack be in a container or bag that can be closed or sealed easily. I also would like to suggest: pretzels, cheese crackers (goldfish, whales, cheezits), any low sugar cereal, or chex-mix.

    ·       We will be having a snack time at 1:30 each day and wanted to let parents know that we don’t have any food allergies in the room. I do request that snack is something that can be eaten without utensils and is not messy. We will be working while snacking. Water bottles are welcomed and encouraged.

This is my 3rd year to teach at Reno Elementary and our classroom theme is Dophin Tale. I have taught previously at Springtown Elementary and am so happy to be teaching 4th grade. My husband and I have lived in Springtown 13years. We have a son that attends SMS and a 5 year old daughter that is now in kindergarten here at Reno. We enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

I do not take folders up, but do ask daily for any corrected work and notes that you have written me. If you ever have any questions please feel free to email me at rcraig@springtownisd.net or write a quick note in the parent/teacher communication section of the student's orange folder.
