Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kelley Walden

My name is Kelley Walden. I am a Special Education case manager and 6th grade ELAR co-teacher at Springtown Intermediate. This is my first year to work in the Special Education department, and I love it! I also provide reading intervention to both 5th and 6th graders here at SIS. I have been a classroom teacher in Springtown for 19 years and have taught 4th-8th grades.

I am a 1990 graduate of Springtown High School and a life-long Porcupine. My husband and children, Chloe and Cameron, are also graduates of Springtown, and my son Cager is a Freshman this year at SHS! I have a great passion to educate and serve the students of Springtown.

My husband, Scott, and I have been married for 23 years, he just opened his own retail business here in Springtown in November,2016. My older children are working at the family store while attending college at Weatherford and UNT.

I enjoy traveling, reading, and working in my garden in my spare time, and I completed my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from UNT in August, 2017. I like to stay busy teaching and learning!
