Welcome to Springtown Elementary. I’m the assistant principal, Angie Kraus. This is my 28th year in education, and I’ve taught Early Childhood through high school during that time. My favorite thing about our school is the people; we’ve got great students, teachers, and parents. When we all work together, we can really make a difference.
I work with discipline, attendance, books, 504, curriculum, and many other areas where Mrs. Russell asks me to be involved.
I grew up here in Springtown and graduated from SHS in 1986. I attended Texas Tech University for my Bachelor’s degree and Tarleton State University for my Master’s degree. I’ve been married for 26 years, and my husband is an assistant chief with Fort Worth Police Department. We have 2 boys, aged 20 years and 17 years. I love to travel and was able to go to Uganda this summer. Meeting the children there was such a blessing!
I believe a partnership between parents and the school will help each student be more successful. We want parents to partner with our school through volunteering, PTO, communication, and support, and we want to help families by making sure that every single student is learning to their full potential.
If there is something I can help you with, please let me know.
