  • When should I call the Technology Department?

Always check with your TAG person before calling technology. Most of the time, your campus TAG person can help correct the issue, reducing your amount of wait time.

    • TAG rep will check out problem and if it is beyond them – will pass it on to the Technology Dept.
    • We work on the problem as soon as we can

  • Basic Troubleshooting

    Posted by:

Before you write a work order or contact your TAG person.

Are all components connected?  Unplug and re-plug your computer in.  If it is your sound, verify that speakers are plugged in to the computer and to the power.  If network doesn’t work, makes sure cable is plugged in – both to the wall and to the computer.  Turn your computer off then turn it back on – It is amazing how many times this fixes small problems.

  • Receiving too much spam?

    Posted by:

Since SISD has converted to Gmail as our email provider, we no longer have control over the amount of spam that comes though. However, if you happen to get any type of spam, you can make those emails go to your spam folder instead of your inbox. Just click on the email and act like you are going to send it. There will be a choice listed as "Report as Spam". Also the good thing about Google is that it will let you know when an email has a virus attached to it. That way you can just delete it and move on.

  • Personal Computer (employees)

    Posted by:

If you have a non-SISD purchased computer on campus – please make sure that you have a current version of an Anti-Virus software package and that the def files are current.  Current Antivirus software will protect both your computer and our network from infection.  Also – please be aware that ALL computers / network devices that are located on the SISD property or using SISD bandwidth are subject to the technology department’s rules/regulations and we have the right to examine said devices.  Macintosh computers that are used within the District need antivirus software installed.  Even though Macs aren’t prone to getting viruses – they are known to be carriers of Malware / Ransom Ware – which in turn affects other computers in the district.

  • Veritime access on my phone

    Posted by:

You must be connected to Employee Access (District's wireless) and the location on your phone must be turned on. (This way the system is able to verify where you are at when you sign in/out).

Using the browser on your phone, go to veritime.aesoponline.com and then login.  You can make that a shortcut on your phone/computer desktop for easy access.

  • How do I access email online?

    Posted by:

Go to the District webpage and click on STAFF on the black bar in the center of the page. Then click on "Gmail Sign In" which will send you to the sign in page labeled "Google". There you will put in your email address:ex. tmann@springtownisd.net and then your password.

    For new teachers:

Your email is your first initial and your last name plus the @springtownisd.net. In some cases, we have employees who will have the same first initial and last name. We will then use the first 2 letters of the employees' FIRST name and then their last name. The password will be your last name and the last 4 of your social or your birth year. Ex: mann2122(not real). If you have any questions, please email Tanya Mann(tmann@springtownisd.net).

Once you are in, you can start the work order process. If you have technology that needs to be serviced, but is not listed, please let us know. We are still in the developing stages, so any feedback is definitely welcome. You can email Tanya Mann(tmann@springtownisd.net) or Amanda Lanicek(alanicek@springtownisd.net) with those changes.
