Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Sarah Nichols and I will be teaching ELAR for my third year at Springtown Elementary School. This is the start of my twelfth year teaching and am excited to be teaching fourth grade again. This is by far my favorite grade to work with and to be able to teach your students. I was born in a small farm town outside of Chicago, IL but grew up most of my life in Orange County, California where my family still live out there, and where I call home. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies and a Masters in Elementary Education. I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where I met my husband Brandon, who I've been married to for almost 10 years. Brandon works on F-35 airplanes for Lockheed Martin. We have two children, Raegan who is 8, and in 3rd grade, and Blake who is 5 and in Kindergarten. We moved to Texas 2 years ago, in July, and love it. I've known I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and love my job. Your children will see that when they are in my class that I tend to get excited and loud and talk really fast when I teach. So don't be surprised when your student may come home and tell you about their fun and crazy ELAR teacher!
