I am a 1999 graduate of Springtown High School where I was a member of the choir and the band.  I attended Weatherford College for 2 years before transferring to Texas Woman's University. I received a BA in music in 2004 and became certified to teach in 2008.  I have the privilege of being married to Jesse Wood since 2001 and am blessed to be the mom of our 3 girls: Melody, Temperence (Tempe), and JoyAnna Grace.  When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my girls and my family, hanging with  my dog (Peanut Butter), reading, watching television and movies, and participating in the worship team at our church.
