It’s a Great Year to be a Porcupine!

My name is Melissa Hutchison and I have the pleasure of serving as Principal of Springtown High School. My husband and I have two children of our own. In addition to my own two Porcupines, I am fortunate to serve nearly 1200 more each and every day.

I truly believe that Springtown ISD was placed in my path for a reason. I am inspired by our teachers' hard work, dedication and love for their students and in awe of the amazing knowledge and talents that our students show each and every day! I am honored to live and work in a community with such strong pride and support. This inspires me to ensure that our Porcupines are provided with the necessary educational and social-emotional support needed to be college, career, and/or military ready for a world where the opportunities are endless!
