Hi guys!  

I am adding to my introduction.  In this wild, uncertain time, I can only tell you one thing:  I miss my kids!  However, I want everyone to know that I am here.  I look forward to hearing what you have  been up to and how you are doing.  Some of our assignments (yes there will be assignments) will be opportunities for you to share with me and with your classmates what you are feeling, what you know, and what you want to know.  I miss your stories, your jokes, and even your complaints(you know who you are).  This time will be not only to continue your education, but to share our hope with each other.

Welcome to my page! 

I am excited to begin my first year at Springtown High School.   This will mark the beginning of my 17th year in teaching.  I have previously taught at Decatur High School for 11 years and at Northwest High School for 5 years. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2003 and am a certified English and Special Education teacher.   I look forward to contributing both to the high school and the community.
