Hello! Welcome to my classroom page!

My name is Kaylon Patterson and I am a 7th-grade ELAR teacher at Springtown Middle School. I was born and raised in Springtown and graduated from here in 2015. I spent some time at Weatherford College before transferring to Stephen F. Austin State University. I received my Bachelor's degree in December of 2019. 

During this time I met my wonderful husband and got married in 2018 and moved down to the Stephenville area. Once I graduated I decided that I wanted to teach in Springtown. So, I interviewed for a teaching position and was hired here in January 2020.

Before this, I spent 3 1/2 years in the education system as a Paraprofessional. Having this experience prior to teaching has become a huge asset. 

I am very excited to continue this teaching experience with you!
