I am excited to be a part of the thriving Springtown ISD family. A little about myself: I am married to my best friend Jennifer, have two daughters, Sophie and Ava, as well as two stepdaughters, Lexy and Kira, and three rescue dogs: Chewy, Lulu, and Huck. I hold a B.A. in History from Texas Tech University, a Masters in Secondary Education from TCU, and a Masters in Administration from Lamar University. I enjoy traveling and spending time anywhere you find water.
For the last two years, I have been fortunate enough to learn and hone my skills as an assistant principal at Springtown High School. Prior to my assignment at SHS, I was blessed to spend seven years as the principal of Poolville Junior High. Prior to joining Poolville ISD, I was an assistant principal at Tison Middle School in Weatherford ISD. Before embarking on an administrative path, I was a teacher and coach with stops in Aledo ISD (twice), Fort Worth ISD, and Lancaster ISD. I was fortunate to be a part of a football state championship with Aledo in 2009. I am a firm believer that strong academic foundations translate into overall campus-wide success.
I look forward to doing everything I can to help all of our Porcupines reach their potential and achieve success both in the academic setting and in the numerous extracurricular activities Springtown ISD offers our students. My goal is to facilitate an engaging environment for all stakeholders and to build on the great things being done at Springtown Middle School.
