Hello! Welcome to Literacy Achievement Class at SMS!

 I am so glad to have you in my class and look forward to working with you and your parents this year. I will  help you grow as a reader and  help you reach your reading goals. I am a veteran teacher, twenty plus years of my teaching experience  being at Springtown Middle School. I have taught grades Pk - 8 and particularly enjoy 7th graders! 

I attended Weatherford College , then transfered to Tarleton State University gtaduating with a BS degree in education.

  I am married with two grown children, who are SHS graduates.

 My joy is;  my four  year old grandson , three year old granddaughter, and one year old grandaughter.  I live on my family farm west of Springtown.  My favorite pastime is being outdoors: working in my yard, or  roaming in the pasture checking  cow.
