This is my fourth year as Principal of Goshen Creek Elementary.  I have been dedicated to the field of education for 23 years.  My teaching career included stops in Midland, Frisco and Magnolia where I taught 3rd and 4th grade students.  My last year of teaching I was honored as District Teacher of the Year in Magnolia.  After three years as assistant principal in Magnolia, I accepted a principal position in Eula ISD.  A year there was followed by a return to Magnolia ISD where I served two additional years as assistant principal, then served as principal for four years there.  

My biggest accomplishment is my family.  My husband, Mike, and I are both from Abilene, TX and have been married for 26 years.  Our daughter, Kelsey, graduated from Texas A&M University and lives in Springtown with her husband, Chance Capps, who is a teacher and coach at Springtown Middle School.  Our son, Dawson, graduated from Springtown High School last year and is attending Blinn in College Station.  Our 5 fur babies keep us busy now!  We enjoy vacationing at the beach, floating the Frio and snow skiing.  

My goal is to deliver the highest quality education in the most positive and passionate environment.  As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors- staff, students and parents- are excited to be here.  My door is always open and I welcome your input.  I look forward to continuing our partnership as we help each student at Goshen Creek reach their highest potential!
