My name is Brent Haugen.  It is my privilege to serve as Associate Principal at SHS.  I deal more directly with Seniors, but will help any of our students in any way that I can.  This will be my 27th year professionally in Springtown ISD.  In the past, I have been a teacher, coach, Athletic Trainer, and Assistant Principal here at SHS.

I am a Porcupine through and through.  I also attended K-12 in Springtown ISD.

It is a great place to be! 

   I received my bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas, and my Master's in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University.

After graduating from Springtown High School in 1990, Mr. Haugen earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Biology degree from The University of North Texas in 1995, and a Master of Education degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013.  He and his wife, Cindy (also an SISD employee), are proud to have had three Porcupines attend (or currently attend) Springtown ISD since Kindergarten: Carli graduated in 2020 (Texas Tech Class of '22), Brock in 2021 (Stephen F. Austin Class of '25), and Audrey is currently a sophomore at SHS.
