It is my honor and privilege to introduce myself as Goshen Creek Elementary's Assistant Principal, Campus Behavior Coordinator, 504 Coordinator,  Testing Coordinator of Goshen Creek Elementary, and Student Council Sponsor! I am elated to continue my long history with Springtown ISD and continue to serve our community. I have been dedicated to the field of education for 22 years in Springtown, and had the privilege of working at three campuses, including Springtown Elementary, Watson Elementary, and Goshen Creek Elementary. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in a leadership capacity and give back to a community that has given so much to me. I look forward to working in a committed partnership with Principal Jones and the staff of GCES for our students.

My greatest achievement is my family.  My husband, Clark and I have called Springtown home for many years. We have been married for 18 years and have two beautiful children. My husband is currently working at our local Springtown Post Office helping to manage. He is a real estate broker of his own company and close to retirement from the postal service. Our daughter, Hope, is working towards her degree in nursing and staying home with my first precious grandchild. Our son, Carson, will be attending Springtown High School and will be a sophomore. He is active in honors classes and the top five of his class, various organizations, athletics, and working towards getting his accreditation in welding. Lastly, I am the guardian and caregiver of my autistic brother, Doug. He is my bonus child and one of my greatest blessings that has had an impact on my life. Doug loves to mow and vacuum so he can watch all the moving parts and earn Dr Pepper for a reward. Our family loves to go to the mountains and enjoys hiking, camping, being in the great outdoors, and spending time together.

My goal as the assistant principal is to provide a safe, secure, and successful environment that is student-centred, high-quality instruction is delivered, and all classrooms are filled with a love for learning. As your assistant principal, it is my passion for all that enter the halls of Goshen Creek to feel welcomed and to be treated like family. It is my goal to serve and treat the students, staff, and parents with respect, kindness, and integrity. My door is always open and I welcome your input. I look forward to working with you in a partnership towards each student of Goshen Creek reaching their highest potential!
