Springtown ISD believes in building the capacity of educators through effective professional development. This is fundamental to student learning. It is also important that educators have the opportunity to pursue learning that meets their individual needs. Therefore, the district provides multiple modes of learning experiences, including in-district, out-of-district, online, face-to-face, and blended opportunities. We look forward to learning and growing with you!
All campus staff (professional and paraprofessional) must complete a minimum of 24 hours of comp (off-contract) credit to exchange out for the Comp Days during the school year. Completing the Statutorily Required Training (Compliance Bundle) will account for 6 of those hours. District-approved courses are listed on this website. New courses will be added throughout the remainder of the school year. You will need to register for these courses. Please watch this short video to learn how to navigate the website and register for sessions.- Staff attending a session outside of the district must upload their certificate of completion in Eduphoria to earn credit. How to Request Outside Professional Learning Credits
- More information regarding Comp Days can be found in the 2022-23 SISD Professional Learning Handbook.
- The Compliance Bundle will not open until July 1st in Eduhero. This is when the 2022-2023 school year begins.
