๐ข PARENTS/GUARDIANS โ IMPORTANT DISMISSAL UPDATE
To help improve traffic flow and safely get everyone home at the end of the day, Springtown High School is changing our afternoon dismissal procedures due to the increased number of vehicles and buses exiting the front of the school.
๐ CAR RIDERS โ WEST SIDE PICKUP
We are encouraging all car riders to be picked up on the west side of the school in the student parking lot near the gym/auditorium doors.
โก๏ธ Traffic in this area can flow either north or south.
โฑ๏ธ If your student is not outside when you pull up, please park in a student parking space and wait for them. This will allow traffic to continue moving rather than creating a backup.
๐ FRONT CAR LOOP
If your student is picked up in the front car loop, vehicles will only be able to turn right when exiting the car loop, which will direct traffic toward Goshen Road.
๐
ฟ๏ธ AG PARKING LOT
Students and parents who park in the Ag parking lot will only be able to turn right when exiting, directing traffic toward Hwy 199.
๐ซ STAFF/GUEST PARKING LOT
There will be NO parking or student pickup in the staff/guest parking lot.
We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we make this adjustment. Our goal is to keep dismissal safe, organized, and moving as efficiently as possible for everyone. ๐งก๐ค
Thank you for helping us make dismissal a smoother process for our students, families, staff, and bus drivers! ๐ฆ

There is a lot of great news to share from Monday nightโs Springtown ISD Board of Trustees meeting!
๐ฐ BUDGET & TAX RATE
The Board approved a balanced 2026โ2027 budget of $48,296,198 and adopted a tax rate of $1.0206 per $100 valuation.
When information about the 2025 Bond was shared with our community prior to the election, projections anticipated that the Districtโs tax rate would increase if the bond passed.
The bond passed - but the tax rate DECREASED! ๐
Last yearโs rate was $1.0317, compared to the newly adopted rate of $1.0206. We are incredibly proud to continue investing in the future of Springtown ISD while remaining responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.

BOND AND TAX RATE UPDATE!
At Monday nightโs Board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the Districtโs 2026 tax rate of $1.0206 per $100 of taxable value.
When we shared information leading up to the May 2025 Bond Election, projections showed that passage of the bond could result in an increase to the Districtโs tax rate.
Great news... the tax rate actually DECREASED! ๐
The Districtโs tax rate in 2025 was $1.0317. The newly approved 2026 rate is $1.0206, a decrease of a little over one penny per $100 of taxable value compared to last year.
And speaking of the May 2025 Bondโฆ ๐๐๏ธ
