Calling all incoming freshmen and new students to SHS! Join us for orientation to get introduced to SHS, meet some of our staff, and learn what it means to be a Porcupine!

Freshmen student schedules and Chromebooks will be handed out immediately after orientation, and our Open House will follow directly after from 5:00–6:00 PM.

Schedule & Chromebook Pick-Up Information

Springtown High School will host Schedule and Chromebook Pick-Up from August 4th–7th! Please see the designated days and times for each class:

🎓 Seniors – August 4th | 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
🎒 Juniors – August 5th | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
📘 Sophomores – August 6th | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
🦔 Freshmen – During Freshman Orientation on August 7th (Time & details coming soon!)

Important Reminders:

You must be fully registered to pick up your schedule.

You must have a schedule in order to receive your Chromebook.

You may pick up your schedule and Chromebook on your assigned day or any day after—no early pickups will be allowed.

📢 BOND PROJECTS UPDATE – JUNE 2025 Thanks to the support of Springtown ISD voters, we’re moving forward with several exciting projects to support our fast-growing student population and create safe, innovative learning environments across the district. 🏗️ Here’s what’s happening so far: ✔️ Planning is underway for a new elementary school ✔️ Expansion of Springtown Middle School is in progress ✔️ Safety & security upgrades have begun district-wide ✔️ Springtown Elementary renovations are being reviewed ✔️ CTE equipment needs are currently being assessed ✔️ We will soon request Construction Manager Proposals for review 📍 Elementary teachers, principals, and district leaders are partnering with Huckabee Architects to help design the new elementary campus—bringing back ideas from regional school visits to ensure it reflects our community’s values. 🔒 Safety First: Over 400 new high-def security cameras and upgraded access control systems are being installed to enhance student and staff safety. We’re also expanding the Raptor Badge Alert System with live visual alerts to all campuses for faster emergency communication. 🚌 Looking Ahead: We’ll present the formal finance plan to the Board of Trustees on July 8, and the Bond Oversight Committee will begin meeting later this summer to help ensure transparency and accountability every step of the way. 🔗 For more details and ongoing updates, visit: https://www.springtownisd.net/page/springtown-isd-bond

Reminder: The Last Day of School is Almost Here! 📅 Thursday, May 22 is the last day of school for Springtown ISD—and it's an early release day for students. 🕛 Students will be released at 12:00 PM (noon).
