We are looking for enthusiastic presenters to help make this day exciting and engaging by sharing their professions and passions with our students. ☀️ Recently, our third grade team visited the Springtown Garden Center looking for the perfect plants to help our students learn about the plant life cycle. We shared that we were open to plants already partway through their growth, and the owner went above and beyond, guiding us to a variety of vegetable plants and generously donating everything we needed, including soil! Because of their kindness, our students will get to experience and observe the later stages of a plant’s life cycle firsthand. 📚 🤝 We’re so grateful for the support of our community in bringing learning to life! ☀️Goshen Creek Elementary Reading Night 📚 🎉Join us on the lawn in front of our GCES Outdoor Learning Center on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and your favorite book to enjoy a fun reading session with us. The admin team will have popsicles for everyone to enjoy, and there will be prizes for students who completed the April reading challenge between 5:00 and 6:00 PM. ⭐️ 🧡We cannot wait to see you there!

Ms. Kristine’s kindergarten class was thrilled to witness the release of butterflies at our Goshen Creek Elementary Choose Love 🧡Garden as they concluded their study and observation of the butterfly life cycle. 💐 ✨Students and teachers were thrilled about this moment. The students were eager to share all the knowledge they had acquired with anyone who could hear them. Every day at Goshen Creek Elementary is an excellent opportunity for learning and growth! ✨

👩‍⚕️Operation Day for our second graders was a special day filled with hands-on activities and enjoyable learning experiences that brought our lessons to life as they applied their knowledge during this room transformation. 🩺 📚In their reading-language arts classes, students engaged in activities such as building their own systems within their life-sized bodies, sorting healthy food options from unhealthy ones, and playing fun academic games based on their unit of study. 👨🏼‍⚕️ 🧡We are grateful for our teachers and parents partnering together to help provide this opportunity for our students. 🤝

🎉 Last week was a week of celebration at Goshen Creek Elementary! 🧡Goshen concluded the 5th Six Weeks with our Celebration Assembly, an opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work of both our students and staff. Among the smiling faces recognized for various achievements were those who made it to the Honor Roll, A/B Honor Roll, Citizenship, Perfect Attendance, Choose Love Ambassador, Sharp Pine, Sharp Reader, and many more! We firmly believe that hard work is rewarded, and it’s important to recognize and celebrate it. 🎉 🤝Lastly, our staff and students took a moment to celebrate all of our Goshen Creek Volunteers for their incredible contributions to our campus’s success. Together, we are truly strong! ✨
