Dear Families,
As we step into another exciting week of learning in the first week of March, I wanted to send out the Principal's Update for the month that highlights all of the great events and important dates that you will not want to miss. Tomorrow morning, our 3rd & 4th Graders will be participating and taking the math benchmark test. Please make sure to get your student to bed early and ensure they eat a good breakfast to show all that they know on the test.
Tomorrow evening, we will be opening our doors for Open House. We hope to see you all there! Lastly, we will wrap up the week with the #BestDayEver! This event is the celebration for our spring GCES PTA Fundraiser. All students will have the opportunity to participate. On this day, all of Goshen will have the chance to jump into dental hygiene with Dr. Ballard and learn from a local book author during rotation. Together, we are making each moment count at GCES!
We hope that you have a great week this week and a wonderful time in the week ahead to rest, rejuvenate, and enjoy a break with your family. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus on Monday, March 17th, 2025. As always, my door is open, and I am here to help serve our students, staff, and community.

๐ธThe class pictures taken tomorrow will be featured in our 2024-2025 Goshen Yearbook. If you have not purchased a Goshen Yearbook, it is not too late! scan the yearbook code to be sure that you get your child's yearbook purchased today.
๐Lastly, don't forget to check out our lost & found rack to help get all of the items back to their owners.
๐Our Goshen Creek Book Fair will be open during our Kindergarten Music Performance after school. Please feel free to come see our very talented kindergarten students & enjoy a trip to pick some great book selections.
๐ฃPlease help these items find their owners. We will have these items displayed throughout the week. All remaining items will be donated at the end of day on Friday the 28th. If you notice an item that belongs to your child, please come up to the front office and one of staff members will assist you.

Don't forget about our Goshen Creek PTA sponsored Kids Invite Someone Special Event that is taking place tomorrow & Wednesday on campus. Our doors will open sharply at 7:10 AM. Students with guests will enter the gym doors to check-in & all other students without guests will go straight to class. We cannot wait to welcome you to campus!

Springtown ISD will operate on a delayed start schedule today, with classes beginning at 10:00 AM.
Our team has been out assessing road conditions since 3:45 AM. While roads in town are generally in good shape, there are a few rural areas that require extra caution. We want to allow our bus drivers to navigate those routes in daylight for added safety.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
