Mrs. Johnsonโs first grade class turned popsicle sticks into learning tools today โ building open and closed shapes with their own hands. This activity boosted creativity, fine motor skills, and early geometry thinking. Together, we are building strong math minds & problem solvers!

Our Goshen Creek Elementary Garden Club sprang into action at their February meeting! ๐ฟ
๐ผ With a special guest speaker and plans to beautify the school flower beds, students are now preparing to plant seeds at their next meeting. We canโt wait to watch those seedlings grow and brighten up Goshen!

๐ซGoshen Creek Elementary Bakery Day in the 2nd grade was a delightful blend of math and fun! Students engaged in hands-on activities, constructing cereal arrays, practicing repeated addition, and sorting even and odd numbers.๐
๐ฉIt was an enjoyable day for both teachers and students, as they applied their mathematical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Together, we strive to make every moment count towards personal growth! ๐
๐ฃGoshen Creek Shoutout! Mrs. Beck, in partnership with the Parker County Soil and Water Conservation District, organizes an annual competition for all of our GCES second-grade students. Each year, they have a theme related to soil and water. This yearโs theme was โSoil. Where it all begins.โ During our GCES Celebration Assembly, three students and Mrs. Beck were recognized for their exceptional work. The first-place winner, Matthew Babcock, will advance to the state contest. ๐๐ปWe want to express our gratitude to Mrs. Beck, all the talented second-grade teachers, and our incredible students for their participation in this event. ๐ซ

Today, we celebrated our students and staff for their exceptional hard work during the 4th Six Weeks. We honored our Honor Roll, Skills Mastery, Outstanding Citizenship, Perfect Attendance, Sharp Readers, Sharp Pines, Choose Love Ambassadors, as well our staff members.
๐ธ The beautiful smiles on everyoneโs faces truly reflect the joy and appreciation we have for our students and staff. ๐
