📣During morning assembly, Goshen Creek Elementary and Ms. Jennifer Roberts from Modern Woodmen recognized Mrs. Abigail Trimm as a Hometown Hero. Our incredible Goshen Creek Elementary Student Council , PAWSITIVE Patrol, and Choir members are collecting items to create special blessings for our friends at Springtown Park Nursing Home this week!

On Thursday, December 18th, 2025, these students will personally deliver the collected items and help bring joy by singing some festive Christmas songs! 🎄

Did someone mention a gingerbread adventure? 🍪 ✨ Yesterday, our Goshen Creek Elementary Kindergarteners embarked on a delightful journey. They crafted gingerbread men from scratch and then set off on a school-wide scavenger hunt. Clues led them through classrooms and hallways, guiding them to their sweet treats. 🎄🧑‍🍳 Kindergarten truly is a magical place where every day is an exciting opportunity for learning. Our young learners are bringing the spirit of Christmas to life, creating cherished memories and traditions. #BetheLight #DifferenceMakers

📕Mrs. Reed’s after-school book study recently celebrated the completion of their second book and is already preparing for the third! We are incredibly grateful to Mrs. Reed and the exceptional students who are leading the charge to foster a positive reading culture across our campus. ❤️Their enthusiasm and leadership are truly contagious, and we should all cheer them on! There’s nothing quite like falling in love with a good book, and it’s evident from the smiles on these faces that they are thoroughly enjoying every moment of it!

💖 Big hearts and Difference Makers! 🏐 Our fourth-grade girls joined a girls’ empowerment group led by Coach Watson and Coach Arce. During Power Hour, they had a special visit from SHS Varsity Volleyball players. The varsity team mentored the girls in volleyball skills, teamwork, and confidence-building. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity for growth, mentorship, and friendship. 🌟 🙌 We are grateful for this partnership and the chance to work together.
