SISD Board Approves Staff Pay Increases

Springtown ISD Approves Pay Raises for All Staff for 2025–2026 School Year

Springtown ISD is excited to announce staff raises for the 2025–2026 school year! The Springtown ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a new compensation plan that includes salary increases for all staff, reinforcing the district’s commitment to recruiting and retaining high-quality educators and team members.

The most significant increases are dedicated to experienced teachers through the new State Teacher Allotment, which was made possible by House Bill 2, recently signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott. Under the plan:

  • Teachers with 5 or more years of experience will receive an $8,000 raise.

  • Teachers with 3 to 4 years of experience will receive a $4,000 raise.

While the state’s new funding model supports these raises for eligible teachers, Springtown ISD has also prioritized raises for all employees, not just those covered under the state allotment. Through thoughtful budgeting and new revenue from enrollment growth and House Bill 2, the district is providing:

  • A 2% raise across the board for all other staff, including teachers with fewer than three years of experience, professional staff, and support personnel.

In addition to salary increases, the Board also approved a $10,000 life insurance benefit for all employees, at no cost to them. This new benefit adds an extra layer of financial security and peace of mind for staff and their families.

“These increases reflect our commitment to every employee in our district,” said Superintendent Shane Strickland. “Every staff member plays a critical role in the success of our students, and we are proud to recognize and invest in their work.”

Springtown ISD is proud to support the dedicated educators and staff who work tirelessly to create safe, welcoming schools where students can thrive. This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to making Springtown ISD not only a great place to learn, but also a great place to work.
