Springtown ISD is proud to announce that Allison (Alli) Hagan, Special Education Counselor, has been named the Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year.
Mrs. Hagan was selected for this honor because of her extraordinary commitment to supporting students and staff across the district. As a Special Education Counselor serving multiple campuses, she works tirelessly to build strong relationships with students and create safe, supportive environments where they feel seen, heard, and valued. Students frequently seek her out in the hallways just to talk, knowing she will listen with kindness and encouragement.
In addition to her work with students, Mrs. Hagan has played a key role in helping the Springtown Intermediate's QUILL program continue to grow and serve students with behavioral needs. She often stays late to collaborate with teachers and staff, offering guidance and sharing her experience to help ensure every student has the support they need to succeed.
Before entering education, Mrs. Hagan served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring with the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Her dedication to service and leadership continues to shape the way she supports students, families, and staff in Springtown ISD.
“Our students deserve adults who see their potential and advocate for them every day, and that is exactly who Alli Hagan is,” said Assistant Superintendent of Academics Tiffany Cano. “She builds meaningful relationships with students and staff, and her work helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow, succeed, and feel supported.”
Springtown ISD Superintendent Shane Strickland echoed that sentiment, noting the lasting impact of her work across the district.
“Alli represents the very best of Springtown ISD,” Strickland said. “Her dedication to our students, her willingness to support staff, and her commitment to creating safe spaces for students to learn and grow make her incredibly deserving of this recognition. We are proud to have her as part of our Porcupine Family.”
Springtown ISD congratulates Mrs. Hagan on this well-deserved recognition and thanks her for the incredible difference she makes in the lives of students every day.
