To help everyone get to class by 7:35, here are a few reminders:
1️⃣ All students arriving after 7:35 will need to come to the front office.
2️⃣ Staff members will begin transitioning inside the building at 7:35, and our doors will begin to close.
3️⃣ The back gate closes at 7:35. Please bring students to the front for sign-ins and passes.
4️⃣ Starting next week, students will be marked tardy if not present by 7:35.
5️⃣ Students can exit the car as soon as it stops—no need to wait for staff members to open doors! 🚪
Our friendly staff will be there to assist. Together, we’re fostering independent managers while keeping everyone safe and successful!

🌟 A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our wonderful parents for your positivity and support on the first day of dismissal! We’re thrilled to announce that Goshen completed our first day dismissal process in under thirty minutes—quicker than in previous years! 🚀 Your patience, grace, and support in teaching our 700 students the #GoshenWay are truly appreciated. We can’t wait for day two and are excited to see how much smoother it gets! It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for our entire Goshen community—students, parents, staff, and supporters!

🔑 Just a friendly reminder: car tags are mandatory for the safety and security of our students. Please ensure you have your tags displayed in your car every day. If you don’t, you’ll need to visit the office for an ID check before we can release your child. For everyone's safety, students will be released only after dismissal is complete.

📅 Reminder: Tomorrow, we will hold our first assembly. Please remain in your cars and use the two drop-off zones to drop off your child. Students will head straight to the gym unless they need to eat breakfast. Our amazing staff will be on hand to guide students to where they need to be. Assembly starts promptly at 7:30 AM. We can’t wait to see all of our students' smiling faces ready to start their day on the right foot! Remember, the tardy bell rings at 7:35 AM, and that’s when our gym doors will shut. If you arrive at 7:35, your child will need to be brought to the front office to sign in.

The Springtown Police Department wants to remind our community that school zones will officially be back in effect on the first day of School, August 13th (Wednesday)! 🚦 Please check the school zone times on the graphic below and remember to SLOW DOWN and look both ways for children.

📚 We currently have over 4,400 students registered for the new school year — that’s more than 200 students above last year! While we know first-day “no shows” may bring that number down a bit… that’s still a LOT of Porcupines! 🦔🧡

Attention, Goshen Creek Elementary parents! 🗣️ If your child requires medication during school hours, please ensure you sign it in with our campus nurse.

Here’s what you need:
✅ Signed medication order from the prescribing physician
✅ Non-expired medication in a labeled prescription bottle/box
✅ Over-the-counter meds must be in a new, unopened box
✅ Inhalers must be in a labeled box from the pharmacy
