Students raced to help the shepherd boy like in The Boy Who Cried Wolf, carefully balanced milk pails like The Maid and the Milk Pail, and even tested their jumping skills to reach grapes like The Fox and the Grapes. ๐๐บ๐ฅ

๐ Big Kahuna Fundraiser โ Our Big Kahuna fundraiser kicked off TODAY!!! Students should have brought home informational packets.
Packets include tickets for collectible character necklaces. Parents must sign each ticket in order for students to receive their collectables.
Students who sell 15 items or more will earn a ride on the Big Kahuna Bus in October.
Families with multiple Reno students can sell 20 items total to earn a spot on the bus for all their children.
All profits from this fundraiser will go toward a new playground (planned for installation in December!) ๐

๐ง NO LOITERING โ All spectators must be seated in the stadium during the game. Students and younger children traditionally gathering under the bleachers will need to stay seated. Students in K-4 should be accompanied by an adult.

๐ง NO GLASS CONTAINERS OR BOTTLES โ Not allowed in the stadium.

Every year, the amazing Walnut Baptist Church blesses us with breakfast and lunch during back-to-school inservice ๐งก. We are so grateful for the delicious meals, the prayers, and the kind words they pour over our staff during this time ๐. This church is the true epitome of community support, and we couldnโt be more thankful for the incredible people who lift us up in prayer and support our teachers and students in so many ways! ๐
The past week has been something special โจ. Our staff has been getting to know each other better ๐ค, learning new things ๐, and enjoying all the little moments in between ๐งก! Like we said before, the vibe is just different this year ๐ and weโre expecting nothing less than a GREAT year ahead ๐ We are ready to fill these halls with students!
