๐โจ Our 4th graders had an AMAZING day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and fun on their field trip! โจ๐ฆ
At Texas Roadhouse ๐ฝ๏ธ, students kicked off the day with the Cupid Shuffle ๐๐บ as a fun team-building activity before rotating through several learning stations!
Students got to shape bread dough into TEXAS ๐ค to be baked and sent home, enjoyed lunch with burgers, fries, and drinks ๐๐๐ฅค, and even put their math skills to work by figuring out how to DOUBLE the recipe for Texas Roadhouse Italian dressing using fractions and real-world problem solving โ๐๐งฎ
They also practiced walking with trays like real servers without spilling their cups of water ๐ง๐ฝ๏ธ while learning how the education and skills they are working on now truly connect to real-life careers and responsibilities! ๐
Next, students visited Russellโs Feed & Supply ๐ด๐ฑ where they learned about farming, animal care, planting, and what it takes to run a successful business. Students loved getting hands-on experiences and learning outside the classroom! ๐๐๐พ
It was such a great day filled with learning, laughter, teamwork, and memories! ๐งก We love providing opportunities for our students to connect classroom learning to the real world!

Our students had the BEST time competing, cheering each other on, making new friends from the other 2 elementary schools, and showing off their competitive spirit! ๐ช๐

Students practiced personal financial literacy, budgeting for their Park Hopper Passes, Snack Passes, and souvenirs. They worked together to make smart choices, learning how to manage money in a fun, hands-on way. ๐ฐ๐๏ธ๐ฟ
Along the way, they explored reading passages about each park, answering questions to discover key details and improve their comprehension skills. ๐๐
The highlight? A virtual Disney adventure! Students experienced rides, attractions, and shows, making learning feel like a real theme park dayโright from the classroom. ๐ขโจ
