✨🔦 Laser-tastic Fun at Reno! 🔦✨

We want to give a HUGE thank you to Reno PTA for bringing the Prismatic Magic Laser Show to our students this week! 🌈🎶

Students had a light-ning good time learning all about laser lights, singing along, and watching an illuminating laser show that truly lit up the room! 💡🎤

It was a beam-ing success and an unforgettable experience for our students! 🌟

Springtown ISD continues to make great progress on the projects approved by voters in the 2025 Bond. During the recent Bond Oversight Committee meeting, updates were shared on Littleton Springs Elementary, the Springtown Middle School Science & CTE Addition, and the Springtown Elementary renovations.

Here are a few highlights:
📍 Littleton Springs Elementary (Elementary #4)
Construction has officially begun following approval of the first construction package. We are excited to celebrate the groundbreaking on March 26th! 𝑉𝑖𝑒𝑤 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑤 𝑡𝑜 𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤 𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑢𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠, 𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑝𝑡𝑠, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠.

📍 Springtown Middle School Addition
Design work has been completed, and construction is currently scheduled to begin Summer 2026. This project will expand Science and CTE learning opportunities for our students at Springtown Middle School. 𝑉𝑖𝑒𝑤 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑤 𝑡𝑜 𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤 𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑤 𝑐𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑠.

📍 Springtown Elementary Renovations

The district is currently under the overall bond budget, and we remain committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of voter-approved funds.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10, our 3rd and 4th grade students will take their Math Benchmark. Benchmarks are assessments we give prior to the STAAR test to help measure student progress and determine how we can adjust instruction and WIN time to ensure students are fully prepared for STAAR in April.

🏀🎉 With a wrap on the 4th Six Weeks, we had to celebrate our NBA students! 🎉🏀

NBA = Never Been Absent! 👏 These students showed incredible commitment by being at school every single day this six weeks! That kind of dedication deserves to be celebrated.

To recognize this achievement, these students were treated to their favorite drink and snack. 🥤🍿

It was a busy week at Reno Elementary! 🎉📚

We had two wonderful days of Kids Invite Someone Special Lunch, and we loved seeing the Pojo Café filled with the special people in our students’ lives. 💛🍎 Thank you to everyone who took the time to come share that moment with them!

Then we wrapped up the week with a successful Spring Open House! 🌸🏫 We appreciate all of our guests who came out to visit classrooms and see the amazing work our students have been doing.

We’re celebrating reading the Olympic way with a full week of fun dress-up days and literacy excitement!
We’ve been working hard all year, and this is the perfect week to celebrate our love of reading. We can’t wait to see our students participate and show their Reno pride!

🍽️ Kids Invite Someone Special (KISS) lunches are this week!!! Please read below so the day runs really smoothly!
This special event will be held on Monday, 3/2 and Tuesday, 3/3.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as this event takes a lot of coordination due to our cafeteria size and the number of guests attending. 🧡

➡️ Students without a guest will enjoy a picnic lunch in their classrooms to help make space for visitors.

⏰ Please arrive on time so you can enjoy the full lunch period with your student. 🧡

🧺 Lunch Options:
Outside lunches are encouraged! If you plan to purchase a meal in the cafeteria, please note that we do not accept debit or credit cards. 💵
Cash only, please — and small bills or exact change are greatly appreciated! 🧡
🥪 Meal Prices:
Student Lunch (PK–4th): $3.50
Adult Meal: $4.75
🍪 Snacks such as cookies and ice cream are also available and range from $0.50–$2.00. 🧡

Our 2nd grade classroom carnival was in full swing as students stepped right up to explore the world of 2D and 3D shapes! 🎪✨

Through hands-on stations, students identified and named shapes, described their attributes (sides, vertices, faces, and edges), sorted and classified them in different ways, and even created their own shape designs. From flat figures to solid shapes, they showed just how well they can shape up their math thinking!

Learning was engaging, collaborative, and full of problem-solving — the best kind of carnival fun. 🎟️🎪🎡🎠
