Attention Pre-K and Kinder parents!!! We are so excited to meet you and your students!!!
Reno Families,
You can now review your student's 2024 STAAR results by visiting Skyward Family Access. This is the same place where you register your student every year for school and can check their grades online.
Once in Skyward, scroll to your student's name, and move to the right until you see "Texas Assessments". You will click that tile. You will then click "Texas Assessments Website". Your student's information should populate.
In the Summer Parent Newsletter, you will find information regarding SISD's summer lunch program, activities at local libraries, athletic camps, and some options for keeping your students' brain thinking and learning over the break. You will also find some information regarding registration for next year and the 2024-2025 school calendar so you can have that to plan accordingly.

Congratulations to the May Students of the Month!
The Student of the Month award recognizes students at Reno Elementary who exhibit exceptional academic, character, and behavior traits at school. Each student who received this award gets a certificate, recognized on announcements all month and โPizza with the Principal" at the end of the month!
Awesome job Zailee, Axle, Luca, Cruz, Naveah, and Nevaeh!

On Friday, we had an awesome Career Day! Our students learned a lot about some different options for careers and were very engaged!
Thank you Mrs . Wilson for coordinating and Station 1: Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation Trailer and Mrs. Garcia; Water Tower Restoration and Mr. Callaway; Reno First Responders and Officer Kern; Annunziato Jiu Jitsu Gym and Mr. Annunziato; and Beekeeper Mr. Johns! We appreciate you coming out and spending time on our campus and with our students and staff!

We have had A LOT of fun end of the year activities and have some more fun ones to go!!!
Our 4th graders put in a Hawaiian Beach Party Performance to remember! They performed so well and it was the perfect start to gearing up for summer break!
On Friday morning, Officer Kern got pied in the face x2 because we raised double our goal during change wars! All of that money went to supplies and equipment for our specials teachers! Stay tuned for a video!!!

Field day is the best day!!! Every year our students have the best time, and this year was no exception! Thank you to Coach Barnett, and also Coach T for organizing and putting this awesome event together! Thank you to all that came out and spent the day with us!

We love appreciation days when we get to celebrate all the people who do WONDERFUL for things for our students and staff and make Reno Elementary the BEST school! Happy School Nurse Appreciation Day to our Nurse Callaway! She ensures all of the medical needs of our students are met; cares of our students and staff when they are sick or injured; and so much more! We appreciate her dedication to our school so much!

Our Child Nutrition Ladies are the BEST! They are hardworking, loving and the people who make sure our students get nutritious meals every day! They are behind the scenes but make a BIG difference in the lives of our students! We appreciate them so much!
