Our Reno Pines were thrilled to they got a special performance from SMS/SHS Theater group today!!! Thank you, SMS/SHS for allowing our students to get to see some of the extra curricular activities they will get the opportunity to be apart of when they get to secondary! It was also great to see some of our older Reno Porcupines! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

POJO Pride Fridays are our favorite! It is black and orange for days!!!! Our little pines come all decked out to wrap up the week!

Congratulations to the September Students of the Month! The Student of the Month award recognizes students at Reno Elementary who exhibit exceptional academic, character, and behavior traits at school. Each student who received this award gets a certificate, recognized on announcements all month and “Pizza with the Principal" at the end of the month! Awesome job Alonzo, Issac, Pablo, Dylan, Olivia and Kevin (not pictured)! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

We got to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our students the first six weeks of school at our FIRST awards ceremony of the year! It was a great time recognizing students who received math and reading awards; A honor roll; A/B honor roll and perfect attendance for the first six weeks! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

We have been informed by the City of Springtown that FM 51 is currently closed from 199 to Lynch Bend due to a fatal accident. Traffic is being rerouted, and at this time, we do not know if the road will reopen before our buses begin their routes. If your student rides buses 39, 52, 75, 81, or MB11, please be aware that drop-off times may be earlier or later than usual due to the rerouting. If you have specific questions, please contact our transportation department at 817-220-1418. Additionally, if you typically drive this route to pick up your child, we recommend planning an alternate route to avoid FM 51. Staff members who drive this route should also prepare for alternate routes when leaving for the day.

Things got pretty WACKY today at Reno Elementary! We had so much fun with this HOCO dress up day!

Team Up Tuesday had us showing all our team spirit today! HOCO dress up day 2 was a success!

HOCO dress up day 1 was SO fun! We love Springtown and we love America!!!

𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑: Tonight starting at 7:00pm, we will have our Homecoming Parade followed by a Community Pep Rally and our annual Lighting of the Letters! 🎉 The parade route will start at Goshen Creek Elementary School and end at the stadium for the Pep Rally and Lighting of the Letters. 🏈📣 Check out some pictures from last year—you do not want to miss out on the fun! It's Homecoming in POJO country! Celebrate with us by dressing up next week! It's going to be a great week!

This week we had a lot of positive office referrals! Positive office referrals are when students are recognized for doing positive things, being kind to others, and/or being great citizens! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary! We are so grateful we get to celebrate all the positive things our students are doing at school!

We had a great turn out to Million Father March this morning! Thank you for all the male role models that impact our students' lives! We appreciate you!

Originally Big Kahuna Envelopes/Fundraising Packets were due to be turned in on Friday, 9/20. However, we do not have school that day. If you sold items using the catalog and accepted check or cash, please make sure to have the envelope turned in by Monday, 9/23. When turning in the envelope, make sure that you put the order form and any money or checks are inside, and that the envelope is sealed. Do not send your child to school with an unsealed envelope. Also make sure that the order form is COMPLETELY filled out. You only need one order form for all of your students (EX. You have 3 students; all 3 student names will go on 1 form). *Since envelopes are due on Monday, you can keep selling through the weekend! If you sold all of the items online, you will have nothing to turn in. The school will get a report and know that your student sold items online. Thank you for your continued support!
