Reminder: Tomorrow, Friday, 11/10 we will release at 1:20 p.m. Please make arrangements for students to be picked up at that time if they are car riders! If they ride the bus, please make arrangements for them to arrive home earlier than usual since dismissal is 2 hours early! Also report cards went home today!

Tomorrow, Friday, November 10th, all SISD campuses will have a two-hour early release to ensure our buses and bus drivers can make it back from their routes in time to take our students out to Snyder, TX for the playoff football game against Hereford! #QuillUp #PorcupineFamily

Polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm Thursday, Nov. 2 and Friday, Nov. 3 for your last chance to Vote Early in the November 2023 election.
In Springtown, you can vote early in the Springtown Elementary School Auditorium (416 E 3rd St) or at the Springtown Senior Center (1070 N Main St).
Wise County voters can cast their ballot at the Boyd Community Center (420 E Morton Ave).

The Student of the Month award recognizes students at Reno Elementary who exhibit exceptional academic, character, and behavior traits at school.
Each student who received this award gets a certificate, recognized on announcements all month and โPizza with the Principal" at the end of the month!

In addition to the Springtown ISD bond proposal, voters will see 14 constitutional amendments on the November ballot for Texans to consider!
Proposition 4 would increase the homestead exemption from $40,000 to $100,000.
Proposition 9 would allow for a cost of living adjustment for individuals receiving benefits from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.

Early Voting begins Monday, Oct. 23 in the Springtown ISD bond election โ do you have a plan to vote early?
We will be hosting an Early Voting polling location at Springtown Elementary School in the auditorium this election, so stop by and cast your vote in this important election.
Polls are open 8 am to 5 pm Monday, Oct. 23 to Friday, Oct. 27 in Parker and Wise counties.
Early Voting polling locations are open Saturday, Oct. 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Parker County. Wise County polling locations are closed on the weekend.
