Congratulations to Reno Elementary's Teacher of the Year, Mrs. McIntosh, and Paraprofessional of the Year, Mr. Coomer! Her colleagues had this to say about Mrs. McIntosh, "Mrs. McIntosh will meet every child where they are and then goes above and beyond to help them grow to their potential." Another said, "Mrs. McIntosh is loving and makes connections with her kids. She goes above and beyond for many things on our campus. She is always there to help with anything that is needed. She is not only a team player with 4th grade, but also for Reno Elementary!!!" We are truly blessed to have teachers at Reno like Mrs. McIntosh! The staff at Reno had this to say about Mr. Coomer, " Mr. Coomer is always looking for ways to help. He comes into class and will jump in and help students. He goes above and beyond." Another said, "Mr. Coomer is great with the students and he is always willing to help. He does whatever he is asked to do, with a smile." This is Mr. Coomer's first year at Reno and he has been an amazing addition to our campus! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

Our first grade students ROCKED their pajama party music program!!! They sang songs teaching us all about how to have an amazing slumber party!!! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!!!

We are happy to declare that 56 of our Kinder students got a special treat and extra recess because by the 100th day of school, they could count to 100!!!! This is a big accomplishment and we have never had so many students count this far at this point of the year! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

We are 100 days smarter, brighter, and sharper!!! We've had a great time over the last 100 days learning and growing!!! We’ve also got some creative students and parents! Thank you to all who joined in on wearing gear that represented 100 or dressing up 100 years old! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!!!

Congratulations to the January Students of the Month! The Student of the Month award recognizes students at Reno Elementary who exhibit exceptional academic, character, and behavior traits at school. Each student who received this award gets a certificate, recognized on announcements all month and “Pizza with the Principal" at the end of the month! Awesome job Natalie, Caroline, Briar, Lilly, Colby, Sophia, and Nathaly! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!
