Please Note:
Teacher assignments will be provided via a phone call on Thursday for all grade levels, with the exception of Kindergarten.

Kindergarten students will receive a room assignment where they can drop off supplies and meet a staff member. This staff member will collect any important information (such as transportation plans for the first week of school) and serve as your point of contact that evening.

Families are encouraged to visit all Kindergarten classrooms to help their student become familiar with the space. However, official teacher assignments for Kindergarten will not be shared until the weekend of August 16th–17th, due to Reno’s Kindergarten Soft Start.

This is an informational event designed to help families learn what to expect in Pre-K and Kindergarten at Reno Elementary.
Teachers will be present so you can put faces to names; however, teacher assignments will not be shared at this event.

It is highly recommended that families attend this evening to ensure they have all the information needed to make the first few days run smoothly and to better understand what to expect throughout the year.

📢 BOND PROJECTS UPDATE – JUNE 2025 Thanks to the support of Springtown ISD voters, we’re moving forward with several exciting projects to support our fast-growing student population and create safe, innovative learning environments across the district. 🏗️ Here’s what’s happening so far: ✔️ Planning is underway for a new elementary school ✔️ Expansion of Springtown Middle School is in progress ✔️ Safety & security upgrades have begun district-wide ✔️ Springtown Elementary renovations are being reviewed ✔️ CTE equipment needs are currently being assessed ✔️ We will soon request Construction Manager Proposals for review 📍 Elementary teachers, principals, and district leaders are partnering with Huckabee Architects to help design the new elementary campus—bringing back ideas from regional school visits to ensure it reflects our community’s values. 🔒 Safety First: Over 400 new high-def security cameras and upgraded access control systems are being installed to enhance student and staff safety. We’re also expanding the Raptor Badge Alert System with live visual alerts to all campuses for faster emergency communication. 🚌 Looking Ahead: We’ll present the formal finance plan to the Board of Trustees on July 8, and the Bond Oversight Committee will begin meeting later this summer to help ensure transparency and accountability every step of the way. 🔗 For more details and ongoing updates, visit: https://www.springtownisd.net/page/springtown-isd-bond
