💫Goshen Creek Elementary Bakery Day in the 2nd grade was a delightful blend of math and fun! Students engaged in hands-on activities, constructing cereal arrays, practicing repeated addition, and sorting even and odd numbers.🎉 🍩It was an enjoyable day for both teachers and students, as they applied their mathematical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Together, we strive to make every moment count towards personal growth! 👏

📣Goshen Creek Shoutout! Mrs. Beck, in partnership with the Parker County Soil and Water Conservation District, organizes an annual competition for all of our GCES second-grade students. Each year, they have a theme related to soil and water. This year’s theme was “Soil. Where it all begins.” During our GCES Celebration Assembly, three students and Mrs. Beck were recognized for their exceptional work. The first-place winner, Matthew Babcock, will advance to the state contest. 👏🏻We want to express our gratitude to Mrs. Beck, all the talented second-grade teachers, and our incredible students for their participation in this event. 💫

📣 Big news — our book vending machine is stocked and ready! Tomorrow we’ll celebrate 33 amazing students at morning assembly for their dedication and hard work in building reading fluency. Each student that will be recognized will receive a magical coin to exchange for a well‑earned book and be recognized as our very first Sharp Reader Award winners. 💌 On Thursday, February 12, all Goshen Creek Elementary classrooms joined in a heartwarming Valentine card exchange! Students and staff had fun creating unique mailboxes to collect cards and treats from friends — so many smiles and creative designs around campus. ❤️🎒 We are grateful for everyone & their "heart-work" that made this a truly special day at Goshen!

✨ Our Goshen Creek Elementary Kindergarten classes celebrated their Kings & Queens unit this Thursday with a magical ball! 👑 🏰Students dressed up as royalty, identified and described royal objects, and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of being a royal family member. They also explored characters, setting, and plot through stories and play. It was a fantastic day of bringing learning to life. 📝
