๐Goshen Creek Elementary students participated in a STEM activity during power this week!
Students from all grade levels collaborated to complete a tower challenge using spaghetti and marshmallows. They applied the design process to construct the tallest freestanding structure possible with the given materials. Each grade level had a group that accepted the challenge and emerged victorious. ๐ฅ
๐Third gradeโs space day was a resounding success! ๐
๐We engaged in reading activities, set educational goals, and even had a delightful space snack featuring HEB star crackers. It was an excellent day for us to review, refresh, and relish our learning experiences.
๐ช๐ปGoshen Creek Elementary Schoolโs 4th-grade girls had the opportunity to participate in the girlsโ empowerment challenge during PE Power Hour this week!
๐ฃOur Springtown High School Cheerleaders visited to boost our students' confidence and provide them with valuable experiences. They learned chants, witnessed tumbling and jumps, and even attempted stunting.
๐งกWe are grateful for the collaborative partnership between our schools and coaches that enables our students to grow and develop.

What a heartwarming way to end the week! โค๏ธ ๐ Our incredible Goshen Creek PTA organized a Super Bowl luncheon to celebrate and express our gratitude to all staff members. A special shoutout goes to Katie JuVette, who was honored with a gift card from the PTA through their Dominoโs pizza fundraiser night. This event was a resounding success, and we are truly grateful for the PTAโs unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of our staff, students, and the entire community. ๐ค Together, we are making a positive impact on our future. ๐
Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Prestonโs fourth-grade class received a challenge from a Florida class to participate in the โLove Makes the World Go Aroundโ challenge. They accepted the challenge and initiated a โChoose Loveโ challenge in return, demonstrating compassion in action to grow the reach of Goshenโs Choose Love Movement.
We are incredibly proud of these students and their teachers for seizing this opportunity to make a positive impact. Their compassion is evident in their actions, as they spread small acts of kindness across states.

Our Elementary All City Choir members and teachers truly deserve a resounding round of applause! ๐
The choir comprises 111 students from 4th and 5th grades, representing four schools: Goshen Creek, Reno, Springtown Elementary, and Springtown Intermediate School. These dedicated students spent their day at a clinic and then performed on the stage at Springtown High School that evening. We are incredibly grateful for their unwavering dedication, the supportive parents, and our exceptional elementary music teachers who made this opportunity possible. This experience not only deepened their love for music but also inspired them to pursue it further. ๐
