Congratulations to the April Students of the Month! The Student of the Month award recognizes students at Reno Elementary who exhibit exceptional academic, character, and behavior traits at school. Each student who received this award gets a certificate, recognized on announcements all month and “Pizza with the Principal" at the end of the month! Awesome job Adalyn, Gilberto (not pictured), Kyla, Brycen, Zailee, and Elias ! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

3rd and 4th Grade STAAR Math test is TOMORROW, 4/30. We are ready to rock this test!!!! We appreciate your support in assisting us in providing our students with the best possible testing experience! Please see the email sent this afternoon for more detailed information regarding testing! Thank you!

Springtown ISD will be hosting a Vaccination Clinic on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, starting at 8:00 am at both Springtown Intermediate School (SIS) and Springtown High School (SHS). ✔️ Some students will qualify for vaccines at no cost. ✔️ Most private insurance will be accepted. ✔️ A consent form is required. 📝 Consent forms can be found in the campus nurse's office or on the SISD Website - Health Services. Please return the forms to the nurse as soon as possible.

We love appreciation days when we get to celebrate all the people who do WONDERFUL for things for our students and staff and make Reno Elementary the BEST school! Mrs. Reyna, Mrs. Young and Mrs. Theisen are the first faces you see when you walk onto our campus! They are friendly, helpful and very hardworking! Some days are really demanding and it's tough ensuring all of the things get taken care of, but they make it happen EVERY SINGLE DAY! They are the dream team and we appreciate them SO much!

PTA's Palio's Pizza Spirit Night is TONIGHT from 4-close! Proceeds will benefit Reno's PTA and dine in or carry out counts as well! You don't have to cook and your supporting our school! It's a win, win!

We love appreciation days when we get to celebrate all the people who do WONDERFUL for things for our students and staff and make Reno Elementary the BEST school! We appreciate our bus drivers getting our students to and from school safely every day! Happy Bus Driver Appreciation Day!

This week, we had LOTS of positive office referrals! Positive office referrals are when students are recognized for doing positive things, being kind to others, and/or being great citizens! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

PTA's spirit night at Palios is THURSDAY! 4/25 from 4-close! Dine in or carry out! A portion on the proceeds goes to Reno PTA!

We SUCH a fun day being visited by author/illustrator Troy Cummings! We read books, drew pictures, used our imaginations, laughed a lot, and learned all about being an author and illustrator! Ask your student about the presentation!!! A special thanks to Reno PTA for providing the funds! Thank you to Mrs. Hale for coordinating the event! And thank you to SISD for providing a book for EVERY student! This was a memorable experience for our students and staff! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!!!

Report Cards went home today! Please view your students', sign and return to school. Snap a picture for your records! Thank you!

We had the BEST time viewing and learning all about the eclipse today! We used our solar glasses, provided by the Perot museum, listened to a playlist of songs about the sun and moon, drank Capri Suns and ate star crackers! We had a blast experiencing this stellar event together!!!! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

We love days where we get to show appreciation to the AMAZING people at Reno Elementary! We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our Mr. Moody in honor of Assistant Principal Appreciation Week! We have the BEST at RES! Mr. Moody is just the right amount of dedicated, loving and silly! He cares about the students and staff at RES and it shows every day in all his interactions with everyone on our campus! We are so grateful to have him at Reno! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

We love days where we get to show appreciation to the AMAZING people at Reno Elementary! We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our Librarian, Mrs. Hale, in honor of Librarian Appreciation Day! We have the BEST at RES! Mrs. Hale is such an asset to our students and staff, and we are so glad she is ours! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

We love days where we get to show appreciation to the AMAZING people at Reno Elementary! We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our paraprofessionals in honor of Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! We have the BEST at RES! They help our school in so many ways and we could not do all the things we do without them! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary!

Pizza with the Principal was extra fun this month because the electricity went out during the event, which is why we didn't get our normal group picture!
