Reno Elementary School

We have been informed by the City of Springtown that FM 51 is currently closed from 199 to Lynch Bend due to a fatal accident. Traffic is being rerouted, and at this time, we do not know if the road will reopen before our buses begin their routes. If your student rides buses 39, 52, 75, 81, or MB11, please be aware that drop-off times may be earlier or later than usual due to the rerouting. If you have specific questions, please contact our transportation department at 817-220-1418. Additionally, if you typically drive this route to pick up your child, we recommend planning an alternate route to avoid FM 51. Staff members who drive this route should also prepare for alternate routes when leaving for the day.

Things got pretty WACKY today at Reno Elementary! We had so much fun with this HOCO dress up day!

Team Up Tuesday had us showing all our team spirit today! HOCO dress up day 2 was a success!

HOCO dress up day 1 was SO fun! We love Springtown and we love America!!!

It's Homecoming in POJO country! Celebrate with us by dressing up next week! It's going to be a great week!

This week we had a lot of positive office referrals! Positive office referrals are when students are recognized for doing positive things, being kind to others, and/or being great citizens! Great things are happening at Reno Elementary! We are so grateful we get to celebrate all the positive things our students are doing at school!

We had a great turn out to Million Father March this morning! Thank you for all the male role models that impact our students' lives! We appreciate you!

Originally Big Kahuna Envelopes/Fundraising Packets were due to be turned in on Friday, 9/20. However, we do not have school that day. If you sold items using the catalog and accepted check or cash, please make sure to have the envelope turned in by Monday, 9/23. When turning in the envelope, make sure that you put the order form and any money or checks are inside, and that the envelope is sealed. Do not send your child to school with an unsealed envelope. Also make sure that the order form is COMPLETELY filled out. You only need one order form for all of your students (EX. You have 3 students; all 3 student names will go on 1 form). *Since envelopes are due on Monday, you can keep selling through the weekend! If you sold all of the items online, you will have nothing to turn in. The school will get a report and know that your student sold items online. Thank you for your continued support!

Keep selling items!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are halfway through our Big Kahuna Fundraiser!!!!!!! Students are receiving tickets for every 2 items sold for a PIGtastic collectables! When they reach 15 items, they earn a ride on the Big Kahuna Party Bus! Families with more than one student earn a ride for all the students in their family when they sale 20 items! Envelopes are due 9/20. Online sales end on 9/27! All money raised is going towards a new playground! Thank you for supporting our school!!!!!!

Hunter & Leo are so excited for Big Kahuna they recreated the piggy banks out of makerspace materials in the library!

We are 3 weeks into school & half way through this grading period! In 3 more weeks, your student will receive their report card. If your student is in 2nd-4th grades, please log onto Skyward Family Access & view your student's grades to ensure they are progressing on track!
